We are currently sold out of all the copies of the 'Sharpen the Steel' Demo CD, thanks to a vigorous response from the legions of true warriors.

This is a temporary condition as we have already ordered more to be pressed and will continue to make them available as long as there is demand.

For those of you with outsanding orders, we ask you to be patient as we WILL process your requests as soon as the CDs are back in stock, it will simply take a few more weeks.

Guitarist Olek Zdunek has been injured in a bike accident. He suffered from severe bruising along his ribs and right arm, but luckily no broken bones. Since he has no mobility in his right arm he cannot play guitar until he heals. This will interfere with the rehearsals and arrangements of the planned concept album, but we will forge ahead always and continue to piece it together, as the true brothers among us will know that you cannot put a time limit on the development and evolution of creation.

Blacksmith declares war in the new year as we are currently beginning composition and writing for a NEW release. This WILL be a concept album and will be musically different than anything you have heard from us in the past. To initiate the new year and focus our energies and vision on the new, we are tearing away the old and casting out all comfort and indulgence from the past.

SHARPEN THE STEEL - Unleashed!

The battle has officially begun as Blacksmith has released its first full length demo CD of barbaric and bombastic war metal. We have recorded and re-recorded the tracks dating all the way back to September 2006 and have completely funded the production and release of this demo ourselves alone. Ending up at Monovibe Studio, these tracks are raw, brutal, rough, and will tear through the flesh of the false and feeble local metal scene like a mighty adamantine hammer through the skull. Sharpen the Steel means we are preparing our battle gear for war. We are preparing ourselves for a great battle to come, the glory to come, the savagery and misery of unrelenting conflict and warfare. Without war, there can be no victory. Bloody, Bold, and Resolute

The Blacksmith web domain is back online today. Our host company had some security issues, but thanks to our ever-vigilant web enforcer, Valgorth, the site is back without problem.

Work is also continuing in Monovibe Studio on Blacksmith's demo CD. We have basically re-re-recorded a lot of things due to the shittiness of our last studio engineer, which is taking a lot of time. We continue to mix and master the music with utter perfectionist paranoia. Believe us, if you enjoyed the shitty sample music on our profile page, you will not know what is about to hit you when you hear the demo CD. We will annouce details on everything in due time.

Be assured that Blacksmith will not rest until our task is complete.
